Terrain / Accessibility
Detailed walk descriptions include an indication of the terrain/ difficulty of the walk based on reasonable weather conditions. You should make your own assessment regarding the suitability of any walk, based on your own particular needs, time of year etc. Conditions in winter may be quite different to those in summer, when unmade paths may be slippery and muddy.
easy - relatively flat paths or roads / easy walking
moderate - more difficult walking / steeper inclines
