"New North Sea Trail Partnership"
March 2007 sees the official end of the 4 year "North Sea Trail" project, and the EU funding for the Moray Firth Trail, which is part of this. However, we plan to continue to develop the Trail concept by including this within future projects around the Moray Firth and by maintaining the Moray Firth Trail website.
The current 26 North Sea Trail partners in seven countries have agreed to form a new organisation to maintain the amazing spirit of co-operation, shared ideas and friendship that have developed between the different project areas. This new organisation will
a. support the work of maintaining, using, and marketing the existing North Sea Trail (NST) and encourage the establishment of new trails connected to the North Sea Trail; and
b. maintain the NST website and distribute (electronically) relevant information to the members
